Engreen’s “Training of Trainers” program in the Philippines, in collaboration with CORE and NEA, aims to enhance the skills of electric cooperatives. Under the CORE initiative, Engreen and ARE provided virtual training for the National University of Lesotho. The training covered sustainable development, energy access dynamics, climate change impact, and the water-energy-food nexus. This initiative aims to equip trainers with the necessary skills to address energy solutions effectively.
Since 2004, COSPE School has been offering professional training for careers in international cooperation and non-profit sectors. Engreen collaborates with Think Global to provide the energy module for these courses, focusing on practical online lectures and preparing training materials to enhance learning in international development projects. This initiative aims to equip students with essential skills for effective project management and administration.
The Micro-Grid Academy provides vocational training on energy access and decentralized renewable energy for young technicians in sub-Saharan Africa, supported by EnGreen’s technical and training expertise.
The project, coordinated by ARE and involving multiple partners, focuses on creating standardized solar energy training and qualification frameworks for regions in Africa and the Pacific, supported by UNIDO and the International Solar Alliance.
Engreen, in partnership with RINA Consulting and funded by GIZ and RES4Africa Foundation, conducted a study on the Water-Energy-Food nexus in MENA and Niger Basin regions. The study focused on solar irrigation, agrivoltaics, and Agri-PUE, resulting in business model designs and a publication on innovative WEF solutions.
EnGreen’s advisory includes internal process analysis, country risk assessments, business model design, financial simulations, and a roadmap for scaling up the mini-grid deployment strategy.
