Despite the challenges of ongoing conflict, Ukrainian cities are stepping forward to lead the clean energy transition. ANEW-LIFE is a European-funded project committed to empowering local governments and communities to rebuild a cleaner, more resilient energy infrastructure in Ukraine.
Led by EnGreen, ANEW-LIFE develops and tests innovative financing mechanisms that make urban energy reconstruction not only possible, but sustainable. Starting with three pilot cities—Zhytomyr, Kalush, and Nizhyn—the project lays the foundation for broader national and European replication.

- Support Ukraine’s reconstruction efforts through energy transformation
By validating tools and methods in real Ukrainian cities, ANEW-LIFE sets the stage for tangible, scalable results throughout Europe.
