EnGreen has provided technical assistance throughout the entire project cycle, from the proposal to the start-up phase, including the energy need assessment, to bring access to clean and affodable electricity to the villages of Kashara e Kimomo in the Idjwi island through a deploy a multi-source 150 kWp solar PV with battery storage coupled with 15kW mini-hydroelectric and LV distribution smart grid.
The action project was led by AVSI Foundation in partnership with Ministry of Environment of the DRC, co-funded by the Italian Ministry of Environment.
Services: technical advisory in proposal design, energy need assessment, procurement, contracting, execution and shadowing of start-up phase.
