The project, funded by UNIDO and the International Solar Alliance, involves the collaboration between Engreen, CREEC, GSES, and 2IE under the coordination of the Alliance for Rural Electrification (ARE) to develop regional solar energy qualification frameworks and curricula in the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), East African Community (EAC), and the Pacific Community.
The aim is to strengthen regional integration and mobility of solar professionals within these regions by establishing standardized qualification frameworks and training courses in solar technology.
