EnGreen has been awarded by UNDP Zimbabwe of a contract for 5 solar hybrid mini-grids technical and economic feasibility studies with a strong focus on Productive use of Energy (PUE) as one of the main economic indicators for the successful development of mini-grid investment, as universally recognized.
Field data collection activities were deployed in collaboration with COSPE Onlus in pre-selected localities througout the country.
This study is under the umbrella of the UNDP’s Renewed Strategic Offer in Africa, the UNDP Zimbabwe Country Office and the Ministry of Energy and Power Development, that are implementing the Africa Energy Offer to accelerate access to sustainable, affordable, and clean energy that will catalyze SDGs achievement in Zimbabwe.
