EnGreen, in partnership with Reiner Lemoin Institut, has been awarded by the Belgian Cooperation Agency (ENABEL) of a contract for 5 mini-grids technical and economic feasibility studies.
Field data collection activities were deployed in the localities of Namanla, Alto Maganha and Idugo in the Province of Zambézia, and Muite and Milhana in the Province of Nampula.
In this context, ENABEL and the national Energy Fund (FUNAE) intend to deploy solar-PV and hydroelectric mini-grids as part of a wider program on Renewable Energy for Rural Development (RERD).
