The day will officially <strong>open the conference<\/strong>, setting the thematic framework for the sessions that follow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event will focus on <strong>energy systems, innovation and community-led models<\/strong> in development and humanitarian contexts, bringing together <strong>students, researchers, technical professionals and invited experts<\/strong>. Through keynotes, round tables and interactive discussions, participants will exchange perspectives, share applied experiences and explore how sustainable energy solutions can be designed, implemented and scaled in real-world settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Focus of the Day<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The event will explore how energy acts as a key enabler for social and economic development, with particular attention to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Decentralised renewable energy systems and mini-grids<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Renewable solutions for healthcare infrastructure<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Innovation in humanitarian contexts, including hydrogen pilots, data and digital tools<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Citizen-led and community-based energy models in an international perspective<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>All sessions are grounded in <strong>applied experience<\/strong>, bridging academic research with implementation practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Event Format<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Sessions will follow a <strong>keynote + round table<\/strong> format, encouraging dialogue between academia, practitioners and institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each thematic block includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A keynote speech (approx. 15 minutes)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A moderated round table with invited speakers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Open discussion with participants<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The afternoon workshop will adopt a more interactive format, fostering exchange and collaborative thinking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Programme Overview<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>08:00 \u2013 09:00<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong><strong>Welcome Breakfast &amp;
