Despite its vast potential for solar energy, Niger<\/strong> continues to face critical challenges in providing reliable electricity to rural areas. To address this, the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) Niamey<\/strong>, in partnership with ANPER<\/strong> (Agence Nationale pour la Promotion des \u00c9nergies Renouvelables), launched a project focused on the deployment of mini-grids and solar kits<\/strong>. However, the program required strong technical assistance<\/strong> to ensure the quality, effectiveness, and sustainability of the interventions \u2014 from governance and monitoring to operational management and local capacity-building.<\/p>\nEnGreen\u2019s Solution<\/h2>\n

EnGreen works alongside AICS<\/strong> to strengthen project governance, improve monitoring systems, develop KPIs, and ensure all activities align with international best practices.
Regular technical reports, position papers, and field assessments support strategic decision-making and promote transparency.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
With ANPER<\/strong>, EnGreen focuses on technical support for the procurement, installation, and management of solar mini-grids and photovoltaic kits.
This includes field validation of designs, supervision of infrastructure delivery, operational training, and the development of detailed operational manuals to ensure local ownership and long-term sustainability.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
EnGreen has established a strong local presence, ensuring continuous field supervision, periodic evaluations, and real-time adaptation of activities based on project needs and local realities.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
