{"id":1868,"date":"2023-06-01T16:46:57","date_gmt":"2023-06-01T14:46:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.engreensolutions.com\/?p=1868"},"modified":"2024-09-25T10:06:50","modified_gmt":"2024-09-25T08:06:50","slug":"rec-viticuso","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/engreen.world\/en\/rec-viticuso\/","title":{"rendered":"REC of Viticuso"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>EnGreen<\/strong> was able to win, together with the <strong>public administrations of Antrodoco and Viticuso<\/strong>, a grant from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.regione.lazio.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><strong>Lazio Region<\/strong><\/a> for a <strong>feasibility study on the two energy communities<\/strong>.<br \/>\nFor the study prepared for the <strong>Municipality of Viticuso<\/strong>, EnGreen collaborated with the <strong>ED Engineering &amp; Design S.r.l.<\/strong>. Thanks to the same grant, it will also be possible to cover the initial bureaucratic and notarial expenses to establish the most suitable legal framework for the territory.<\/p>\n<p>The final design of the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/engreen.world\/en\/renewable-energy-community\/\">Renewable Energy Community (REC)<\/a> of Viticus<\/strong>o aims at providing sufficient technical and economic elements to assess the costs associated to public-owned renewable generation plants, to be built on municipality\u2019s surfaces. To produce electricity locally, several <strong>renewable energy technologies<\/strong> have been considered. The <strong>installation of photovoltaic panels<\/strong> was the most advantageous option thanks to the easier phase of construction and installation and the modularity of photovoltaic systems.<\/p>\n<p>Public administrations, individual citizens, local businesses are called to participate in the <strong>process of electricity supply<\/strong> of their community, and the organizational model of RECs allows them to face this challenge with the appropriate tools.
