Duties and responsibilities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Junior BDO will report to the Business Development Manager and will have the following main duties<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and responsibilities:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Monitoring of funding opportunities, including tenders and calls for proposal<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Regular updating of key BD documents (e.g. roster database, CVs, partners,etc.) and M&E documents<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Supporting the BD Manager in structuring partnerships<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Supporting the BD Manager in preparing offers and writing proposals regarding energy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    • Supporting the BD Manager in developing new workstreams<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Supporting the R&D activities on primary and secondary data analysis (e.g. market analysis, data entering\/cleaning, etc.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Essential skills and qualifications<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
        \n
      • Advanced degree (Msc\/MA) in Engineering\/Economics\/Environmental Studies\/Public Policy\/International Development<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • At least 2 years of experience in proposal writing for international cooperation agencies, EU funding programs ( H2020, Horizon Europe, Life, Interreg, etc.) regarding renewable energy<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Knowledge and understanding of international cooperation for development context<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Basic knowledge and understanding of quantitative and qualitative analysis tools<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Advances Knowledge of the Office suite<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Language requirement: Fluency in English + Fluency in French or Portuguese<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Strong communications and presentation skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Positive attitude to teamwork and strong motivation to lead high impactful work<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        Desirable skills<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
          \n
        • Experience in energy contexts, knowledge of off-grid energy systems and energy communities is considered an asset<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Experience with key business development\/project design tools (offers, theory of change, logical framework, etc.) is considered an asset<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • \u2022 roficiency in performing advanced online researches for desk-based data collection<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
