The “YES-Europe Annual Conference 2022” event, organized by PoliENERGY and YES-Europe (Young leaders in Energy and Sustainability) took part the last weekend in the amazing venue of Stellantis Italia‘s Heritage Hub.
We intervened in the panel on “Renewable energy sources to boost sustainable development”, explaining our work with mini-grids for rural electrification and the lessons learned that we are now adapting in our commitment to promote renewable energy communites in Italy, with our Val.Zer pilot case study ( https://www.engreensolutions.com/val-zer-project-energy-communities-arising-in-italy/ ).
On saturday, we also led a workshop on “Cross-cutting impacts of decentralized renewable energy solutions”, brainstorming with the participants what the interlinkages between energy access and other SDGs might be in a development scenario.
It was a blast for our team to be part of the event, being able to talk to many young, and like minded young #sustainable and #renewable energy enthusiasts about our activities and what we are willing to do in the future!
